Learn more as we visit 2 wineries for tastings and tour the region prior to stopping for a scrumptious 2 course lunch.</div><div>Next arrive at the Port of Goolwa, home to the Steam Exchange Brewery, Fleurieu Distillery and 90 Mile Wines in the Wharf Barrel Shed. More tastings can be enjoyed at your own leisure or you can grab a bargain at the local markets.</div><div>Enjoy the option to stay at Goolwa and linger longer over a refreshing local ale, whisky or wine or continue onward to Victor Harbor to reboard the South Coast Wine Train for the railway journey along the coast. </div><div>Sit back, unwind and watch the world travel past your carriage window as we head along the beaches of the South Coast, past Goolwa and through the wheat fields and farmland and back towards Strathalbyn and Mount Barker. Since then the society has acquired an enviable collection of tractors,</div><div> steam exhibits, stationary engines and equipment associated with our rural industrial and agricultural heritage.</div><div>The annual rally is where members of the society get to share their knowledge and sh-owcase the fabulous machines that form an integral part of our Australian heritage.</div><div>The 2 day tour will start from Adelaide travelling to Hamley Bridge where we will retrace sections of the old broad gauge Hamley Bridge to Gladstone railway travelling through townships such as Balaklava, Blyth and Brinkworth.</div><div>Visits will be made to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie before boarding the Pichi Richi Railway's Twilight Explorer train from Quorn to Woolshed Flat and return.</div><div>After a nights accommodation at Port Augusta, travel to Booleroo Centre and spend most of Sunday at the iconic Mid North steam and traction rally. After the new year the Cockle Train continues to operate 3 times a day until the kids go back to school in late January.</div><div>A gentleman who has retired to Port Elliott in the last 2 years after living his whole working life in Adelaide said &quot; It's great to hear that the old steam trains will be running up and down to Victor Harbor again this summer.
