Rail Tours Australia was established in 2009 to offer people from around the globe with an interest in railways and trains, the chance to tour and experience some of Australia's great railway attractions from the past and also the present day.

The founder of Rail Tours Australia saw the demand and need for guided tours to railway museums, operating preservation railways and societies, railway workshops, and other rail experiences around Australia where guests could get a real insiders perspective and understanding of different railway attractions.

Rail Tours Australia is owned and operated by experienced professional Tour Guides who have a great interest in railways and trains, within Australia and abroad. Our tours therefore cover more than just railway history, including national, state and local history also.

We have over 15 years experience within the tourism industry, and have been active members of many railway preservation groups for over 20 years.
