Experience an unique tour with Rail Tours Australia to the beautiful Flinders Ranges and the Pichi Richi Railway.
Depart Adelaide and head to Quorn, the home of the Pichi Richi Railway for a guided tour of their depot. On the way enjoy the passing country side of the Mid North of South Australia and the towns of the area that were once home to railways long past.
The highlight of the tour is the journey from Quorn to Port Augusta in the PRR Motor Inspection Car. Over 50 years ago the South Australia Railways converted this 1937 Morris 25 to operate on narrow gauge track. Beautifully restored, the MIC is perfect as a unique tour vehicle, holding up to 5 people.
